Christina Wood D.Phil lives in Hampshire with her husband and two children. She holds a degree in Engineering and worked as a marketing manager before taking a career break to start a family.
Her youngest child, Alex was diagnosed with Autism at age 3. Alex has responded well to a combination of behavioural, sensory and biomedical interventions and is now a happy and sociable 8 year old boy.He attends a mainstream school and is a keen Liverpool supporter.
Christina is a trustee/director of the Treating Autism registered charity. She has been a Generation Rescue 'Rescue Angel' for the UK since January 2005. In September 2006, she started a Teacher Training Programme in Secondary Science.
